Worship Committee Mandate
We strive to provide opportunities to experience the all-embracing love of God within a loving community and to comfort, challenge and inspire.
10:30 Sunday morning worship is a high point of the week as we look forward to a worship that comforts, challenges and inspires. Our worship together is an expression of our loving community and the spiritual expression of our deepening relationship with our God: Creator, Jesus and the Spirit.
Through the warm welcome from someone next to us in the pew or the preaching, prayers, music, or silence, God helps us to let go of our swirling thoughts and worries, and invites us to go deeper to a place where we are open to experiencing God’s all-embracing love.
In the sermons from our minister and our lay preaching team, we hear ways of understanding God and scripture, and of faithful living.
Our music program uses a wide variety of musical styles and musicians, ranging from traditional to contemporary, both familiar and new, to enhance our connection to the words that we speak and hear.
