Welcome Back from summer!
The service opened with a Powerpoint of pictures taken by the congregation over the summer. What a wonderful way to share our summer activities. Thanks to Emily VanderBeek for putting these pictures to music.
Trinity kicked off their new worship music program. Each week will offer a different style of music. Today’s music featured Heather Reid on fiddle, tin whistle and piano accompanied vocally with Don Miller (bass guitar), Judie Herbert, Ruth Parker, Marilyn O’Rourke (drums) and Joyce Reid (guitar). We sure had fun sharing this music with the congregation. Click on the first link to hear ‘Called by Earth and Sky’ and ‘Dance with the Spirit’. The second link will share ‘My Soul Cries Out’ and ‘My Love Colours Outside the Lines’. Enjoy
Preceding Svinda’s thoughtful reflection time, is Linnea Good’s song “How Then Shall I Live”. Linnea will be leading worship music on October 15th, as well as entertaining us with a concert that evening. She is wonderful, energetic, funny, faithful and genuine. Come out for either event or both!
An agape meal followed worship – the breaking of bread and sharing of a feast. A wonderful time of reconnecting with people after the summer.
