Music today was provided by ‘The Small Band’ consisting of Heather Reid, Kimberly Hanmer, Marilyn O’Rourke, Don Miller, Joyce Reid. We had a great time learning new music, experimenting with arrangements and a various number of instruments. Music included: “Kum Ba Yah’; ‘Be Not Afraid’; ‘Whispering Hope’; ‘Shall We Gather at the River’; ‘Bare to the Bone’ (Carrie Newcomer); ‘Seek Ye First’; ‘Come Worship the Lord’; ‘What Can I Do?’; ‘I am Walking a Path of Peace’; and ‘May God’s Sheltering Wings’. The post-service music turned a wee bit to the Irish and everyone sang ‘The Unicorn’ and finished with the Irish Washerwoman.
