Special Service this Sunday– July 23: As part of our regular Sunday morning service we will be having, for the first time in living memory, a service of remembrance and celebration honouring our loved ones, particularly those whose ashes have been scattered in the Rose Garden. Some call this a “cemetery decoration” service.
Flowers were laid upon grave stones or by the plaque of names – the laying of flowers will happen as part of the service. This was a lovely remembrance time shared by all.
We then returned to the Sanctuary where Chris McCloskey shared a beautiful song honouring his parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary. Anne & Clarence McCloskey were thrilled to be honoured with this wonderful tribute.
