Rev. Dr. Alan Minarcik has been Trinity’s worship leader, caregiver, pastoral visitor, friend, mentor, man of wisdom and quick wit for the past 15 months. Originally, Alan was to be with us for a short period of time until Trinity called a new minister. Delightfully for us, this process took a few months longer than expected. We have been honoured and blessed to have Alan leading Trinity through this time of transition. We have enjoyed Alan’s medley of care and humour in our worship services and our prayer is that the legacy of kindness he continues to bring to this space resonates for many years to come!
Special music filled our service today from our Music Co-ordinator, Kimberly Hanmer, the Grace Notes and a couple of Trinity Ensembles. Music selections were chosen by Alan from his list of favourites. Music included: ‘Psalm 23″; ‘Come Thou Fount”; ‘To Abraham and Sarah”; ‘Fugue in C Major”; ‘Blest Be the Tie That Binds’; ‘I Feel the Winds of God” and concluding with a western style ‘Happy Trails’, complete with horse hooves.
