February 10 – Fifth After Epiphany & Annual Meeting

Welcome to Trinity on this exciting Sunday when we gather to support all that happens at Trinity.  What an amazing, fun filled, welcoming, busy, caring church.  So many people share our space for learning, growing, exercise, sharing, support, comfort, caring, breaking bread together…whether you are a member, an adherent or simply stopping in.  All are welcome!

If you haven’t read our annual report, please open this link:  2018 Annual Report Compressed

Rev. Dr. Alan Minarcik led us in a purposeful reflection today, so meaningful for our annual general meeting and for the growth of Trinity.  If you want to know some of the wonderful facts (but not all of them!)  about Trinity, please listen to his reflection.

SCRIPTURE     Isaiah 6:  1-8 and Luke 5:  1-11    read by Glenda Barry

REFLECTION    ‘Ten Things You Need to Know About Trinity Grimsby’     Rev. Dr. Alan Minarcik

We enjoyed sandwiches and refreshments after the reflection and then settled in for our annual meeting.  After the meeting concluded, we closed with our final hymn and prayer.

Music was led by our capable Kimberly Hanmer and the choir.  Hymns and songs included:   “Prelude in C”, “Ode to Joy”,  ‘O for a Thousand Tongue to Sing”,  “In Loving Partnership We Come”,  ‘O Come, Ye Servants of the Lord”, “I’m Gonna Live So God Can Use Me’ and ‘Rise Up, Rise Up”.
