CANDLELIGHTERS
Prior to the worship service, the minister will ask one of our young people to light the Christ candle as a sign of Christ’s presence among us as we worship.
She will call you up to the Communion Table and hand you a tapered candle. You then light this candle from the tea light flame. With your taper, you light the Christ candle.
Then you blow out the flame on the taper and the tea light.
Sometimes our little ones blow strongly... then they need to re-light the Christ candle!
If you haven’t had a chance to light the Christ candle…and you would like to do this, please speak to the minister before the service.
