Roger Bond
Music Director
Roger's Ministry as the Director of Music is driven by his passion for "Blended Worship", combining the best of our church music traditions with elements from around the world, and from more contemporary sources, both inside and outside 'the Church', to create enlivened worship that invites us to go deeper spiritually. He brings almost forty years of choral and organ experience, as well as over thirty years teaching children and young adults with special needs. As a composer, joined by his text-writer wife Barbara, and as a photographer, Roger seeks to make known an experience of the Divine as a God of presence, compassion, relationship, joy and passionate love. Roger and Barbara live in Stoney Creek, and spend lots of time hiking with their dogs.
